The location for the five new yurts at Moutcha Bay Resort
We've got a busy year planned, from sports shows to derbies. Come be a part of the fun.
We’re Under Construction!
Moutcha Bay will debut yet another new look when we open the doors for the 2012 season. Winter storms wreaked havoc on the old marina and a new one – double the size – will be in place this season. We’re also adding 10 new upper campsites, some with stellar views, and we’re adding services to some of the existing upper sites.
Down on the waterfront we’ll be adding five new yurts to bring the total to eight. The new yurts are on a point to the northwest of the existing yurts and will have great views of the marina. We will be open in a limited capacity beginning early June with some construction still underway. We anticipate all the facilities to be ready for our full opening in mid-June. We look forward to showing off our new digs!
First Fishing Report of 2012
Onsite Manager Gibran White gets a great start to the 2012 Season in the year’s first Fishing Report. Gibran and crew greeted Spring by prawning and fishing in snowy Nootka Sound in late March.
We’re on YouTube! Check out our 2012 Storm Clip. While you’re there, check out our new promotional video – some great memories from the 2011 season. You can also watch an episode of Catching On where the boys visit Moutcha Bay Resort for our Annual Kayak Fishing Derby.

9th Annual Kayak Fishing Derby August 31 – September 2, 2012
