Unspoiled and unrivaled saltwater fishing

The opportunities to fish for trophy chinook and coho salmon are endless with a season running from April to October, plus abundant bottom fish throughout the year.

Highlights for guests include offshore Bajo Reef and the salmon highway, and the highly productive, protected waters of Nootka Sound itself.

Halibut, lingcod and yellow eye rock fish are abundant off shore.

Peak Season for fishing the protected inside waters is July through August with excellent fishing well into September.

Prawn fishing is open year ‘round for recreational anglers. We have prawn traps and trap pullers for rent and sale.

Guided salmon and halibut charters

Guided Salmon and Halibut fishing charters are available starting at $1250 a day per boat. We also offer half day charters at $625. Our 25-30 ft cruisers are equipped with everything you will need to fish in style with two to six guests to a boat. Our guides are some of the most experienced and personable in Nootka Sound and will ensure you have a memorable and productive trip.

We are in the process of adding a 52 ft Sunfjord to our fleet. When refitted to Transport Canada standards we will employ it with a crew of three, as a luxurious party/fishing/exploring yacht, which will carry 12 or more guests at $250 per day per person.
